Is BriefRights free for creators?
Yes. Creators pay nothing to join, browse briefs, or receive payouts. Platform fees are charged to buyers only.
What happens to my escrow funds if a project is disputed?
Funds stay in escrow until the dispute is resolved. Both sides can submit a change request or escalate to our support team. Dispute resolution is time-bound and symmetric for buyers and creators.
Can I switch plans later?
Absolutely. Upgrade or downgrade at any time. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle, and unused credits are prorated.
What does the platform fee cover?
The platform fee (on cleared GMV) covers payment processing, escrow management, license document generation, and asset delivery infrastructure.
What are expedited payouts?
Standard creator payouts process within 3-5 business days after approval. Expedited payouts release funds same-day for a 1.5% fee on the payout amount.
Do you support custom contracts or MSAs?
Enterprise plans include custom MSA templates and usage-rights configurations. For other plans, our standard click-through license covers channels, term, and region.
