Built for both sides of the UGC deal
BriefRights exists because sourcing short-form content should be predictable, fair, and documented — not a guessing game conducted through DMs and spreadsheets.
The problem we set out to solve
E-commerce brands, startups, and performance agencies need short-form UGC fast. But the sourcing process is broken: unclear deliverables, revision loops without limits, ambiguous usage rights, and late payments that erode trust on both sides.
Creators face the same frustrations in reverse. They accept projects without clear scope, submit work that gets renegotiated after the fact, and wait weeks for payment with no recourse.
What we built instead
BriefRights replaces ad-hoc sourcing with a structured workflow: briefs define scope before production starts, escrow milestones align payment to delivery checkpoints, and license documents are generated when work is approved.
Every step is visible to both parties. Every agreement has an auditable timeline of submissions, approvals, revisions, and acceptance. The record speaks for itself.
Our mission
To make every UGC transaction clear, fair, and efficient — so marketing teams get content they can use with confidence, and creators get paid on time for work that was scoped from the start.
The principles that guide us
Clear
Remove ambiguity from decisions, deliverables, and next steps. Every screen answers 'what happens now?' in one glance.
Fair
Treat creators and buyers as equal stakeholders. Payment and revision rules are visible before acceptance, not buried post-commit.
Efficient
Reduce cycle time by minimizing back-and-forth. Templates, presets, and one-click workflows replace manual coordination.
Credible
Earn trust through records, not reassurance. Timestamps, versions, and approvals replace vague promises.
How we design
Make the next action unmistakable
Every screen answers 'what happens now?' in one glance. No hunting for the right button or wondering whose turn it is.
Prefer structured choices over free-form text
Templates first, customization second. Saved presets for brand guidelines, usage rights, and brief formats accelerate posting.
Separate decision from execution
Confirm scope and rights before production begins. Both sides agree on deliverables, revisions, timeline, and price up front.
Show the record, not reassurance
Surface timestamps, versions, and approvals instead of vague trust cues. Every agreement has an auditable timeline.
Design for two-sided coordination
Each step clearly states responsibilities for both parties. Buyers and creators always know who needs to act next.
